Announcements relating to COVID-19

Availability of the Department of Research Review (TCBio secretariat) and submission of documents during the COVID-19 pandemic (update of 28 August 2020)

In connection with the measures taken to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading, employees of the Department of Research Review are mainly working from home at the moment. This means that there is currently no ‘open office hour’ [inloopspreekuur]. However, we can be contacted by telephone again Monday to Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.; see contact details. You can contact the department via e-mail at tcbio@umcutrecht.nl. If you wish to discuss things with us, then please describe your question in your e-mail, and provide the telephone number on which we can contact you. We will answer your question as soon as possible, either by phone or via e-mail. Please check the news page regularly for updates.

Are signatures necessary on TCBio documents?

For new requests/changes ('amendments') the following applies: if relevant, sign the request form yourself (possibly with a scanned signature).

For other persons involved: confirmation by email suffices.

For responses: no signatures necessary.

Other persons involved are:

For sub-biobank release requests signatures are needed from the responsible person for the sub-biobank ('deelbiobank') and the division management team. They can suffice with confirmation by email, that are added to the request.

For release requests ('uitgifte aanvragen') besides the signature  of the responsible researcher,  signatures are required of the responsible person for the sub-biobank ('deelbiobank') and the division management team. The latter two can suffice with a confirmation by email, that are added to the request.
